Every photograph you see on this site was taken by one of the two of us during our travels. Most often, there will be a narrative entry that discusses the trip in which a photo was taken, but in some cases, most notably Death Valley and Argentina/Uruguay/Antarctica/Chile there is no narrative portion.
The photos serve as another form of record or memorial to a journey taken, and occasionally, they surprise even me in their ability to bring back to life a moment in time. With rare exception, the photos were taken by my travel partner. He takes the pictures and I provide the commentary. A fair division of labor we think.
